Make a Chain of Prayer. it works!

In the book of Matthew 18:19-20 it says: “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” It's clear what the Lord Jesus Christ said about people having goals in life, and how much they can achieve it.

But the question is, why though you try hardly to achieve your goals, you see no success?
It seems that no matter what you do, it won't change anything.

Unfortunately this is how many people are facing life today, failure after failure, disappointments and more disappointments.
why this is the situation they are living, if Jesus had told us about how possible is to achieve something in life?

The answer is, you haven't put all your strength in what you have done, in other words you're not using your faith.
For sure doubts, negative thoughts, lack of motivation has stopped you to achieve your dreams.

If you carefully meditate in the words of Jesus, you will understand that these words mentioned in the bible are not religious words, Jesus said that if we agree here on earth for ANYTHING we ask for, in other words, for whatever you desire for, fight for, it will be done, this too is God's desire, that you achieve what you want.

Therefore I encourage you to stand and fight for what you wish for, come and join us every Sunday at 7am or 9am at UNIVERSAL CHURCH OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD (U.C.K.G), participate of the Chain of Prayer and have your life blessed.

What Does Really Matter to God?

We all know that God don't see as man does, "But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1Samuel 16:7) we man are always limited to see only the outside, when God can see both "Outside" and "Inside" this is what I believe makes our God Perfect.

This is also what always gives God condition to do what is right in His decisions, choices and etc.

Let us read the bible to see what was the condition of Saul when he was chose to be king;
And Saul answered and said, “Am I not a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel, and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? Why then do you speak like this to me?” (1 samuel 9:21)

Saul was; The Least, the smallest, Humble and Kind (1 Samuel 10:16,21-23) Brave and used to Honor God. (1 Samuel 11:7-13) God gave him (Saul) His Spirit
(1 Samuel 11:6)

In spite of all the question is, if God does everything perfect and make right choices, then why we see disappointments from those God chose?

Most of the times we servants of God don't take a good care of what have God given to us, this is what happened to Saul, that after sometime as a king chosen by God, showed that he was not depending on God as he did in the beginning of his reign.
(1 Samuel 13:8-14)

God being merciful gave him a chance and through the prophet Samuel sent him to the battle against the Amalekites and the order was to kill and destroy them, but again Saul refused to obey God's voice for he did not kill Agag king of the Amalekites.
(1 Samuel 15:17-19)

Now the word of the Lord came to Samuel, saying, “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” (1 Samuel 15:10-11)

After all, we can convince ourselves about the fact that God remains faithful, righteous and perfect in whatever he does, the mistake is not God's but ours when we refuse to live depending on Him.

When God understands that His servant has no more ears to hear His voice, that servant will certainly be replaced, and again God finding someone who's heart is to please Him, He will choose and use that servant to always do more.

The Son and the Auction.

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Michelangelo. They were very close and they would sit together admiring their great findings.

Unfortunately, the son was drafted off to war. He was very brave. However, he was killed while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for many years. The death of his only son shook him up so badly that he lost his will to live.

A couple of months later, there was a knock at the door.
A young man stood at the door with a large, beautiful picture frame in his hands.
 He said to the father: - Sir, you don’t know me, but I am the soldier your son gave his life for. He saved many lives, including mine. While he was carrying me to safety, a bullet struck him in the chest and he died instantly. He often talked about you and your love for art.

The young man held out the picture frame and said: - I know this isn’t much. I’m not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this. The father tore through the packaging that protected the frame.

It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young soldier. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the portrait.
- Oh, no sir! I could never repay what your son did for me. It’s a gift.

The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son. A few months later, the man died. There was to be a great auction of his paintings.

Many influential people gathered with excitement to purchase such great works of art. Among the valuable pieces sat the painting of the son.

The auctioneer pounded his gavel and announced the beginning of the auction: - We will start the bidding with this picture of “THE SON”. Who will bid first? How much will you bid for this portrait?

There was silence… Then, a voice in the back of the room shouted: - We want to see the famous paintings: Van Gogh, Picasso!

But the auctioneer persisted: - Will somebody bid for this painting? $100, $200?
After the auctioneer persisted for a while, another voice answered:
- I’ll give $10 for the painting.
 It was the father’s old gardener. Since he was a very poor man, this was all he could afford.

- We have $10! Who will bid $20? – shouted the auctioneer.
No one said a word. So, the auctioneer pounded the gavel: - Going once. Going twice. SOLD for $10!

A man sitting on the second row shouted: - Now let’s get to the valuable pieces of the collection!

The auctioneer laid down his gavel and said: - I’m sorry, ladies and gentlemen, but the auction is over.
- But, what about the paintings? – asked the impatient crowd.
- I am sorry, said the auctioneer.
 - When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. Only the painting of “THE SON” would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings. The man who bought “THE SON” gets everything!

In Conclusion:

 He who has the Son of God has eternal life and everything that comes along with it; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. He will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone along with the devil, demons, death, hell, the Beast and the False Prophet. 1 John 5.12; Revelation 20.10,14,15

Those who believe, amen. Those who don’t believe, patience.

Two Masters or One?

Take a very close look at this picture.

What do you see?
If you realized that the picture above could show you two different images, you are right.

But what really drew my attention is the fact of what can this picture illustrate today in regarding people's faith in God.
This picture is an illustration of what many people have done inside or outside churches, I am talking about those who claims to really believe and follow God.

They have believed in God, however they have shown two faces, and do you Know why?
It's simple to explain, it's because though they are attending church services every sunday morning or being part of any group in the church, they are still missing something, and what is missing? A REAL ENCOUNTER WITH GOD.

When we deeply meditate in the word of God, there is no room for doubts inside of us, why?
Because the word of God is clear when it is really accepted by it's reader.

Many people have not been connected with God because they are connected with the world,
My question for you is, can you really focus on listening two different radio stations or watch two TV channels at the same time?

I really don't think so!

If you really trust God, then it is time to prove it by depending on Him only, but the question maybe is, how? there is only one way, when you really decide to be entirely, surrendered in God's hands.

If it is not yet clear, then remember what Jesus said; “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6: 24)

Do you still have doubts, I don't believe so!

The Fast of Daniel—Day Twenty One

God’s timing

When we submit to the discipline of the Kingdom of God, everything that happens works out for our own good. Do you know why?

Because the Almighty is in perfect control of everything in His Kingdom. Do you believe this?
One of the most serious problems for the people of God, is their love life.

But let’s look at how our Lord and King goes about solving this problem:

When a subject, servant, priest and child loves Him with all his heart and with all his soul, with all his strength and with all his understanding, God in turn sends him a special gift that satisfies the desires of His child: a wife/husband.
As it is written, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the LORD.” Proverbs 18.22

That being the case, a cross is formed: the vertical pole (you and God) + the horizontal bar (you and the one you love).
At times it may seem that it’s taking a little too long. But that does not mean there’s a delay. In fact, He is preparing the right person for you, or preparing you for someone who is already ready.

If this describes your situation, don’t be uneasy, worried or anxious—those who believe do not give up, are not in a hurry and do not run away.

On the other hand, it is also written that the time for the promise to be fulfilled is approaching, and will not fail. “If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.”Habakkuk 2.3 NLT

This word applies to the promises of God, but only for those who believe. Do you believe?
What tactics has the devil used against God’s elect? He knows our needs, especially when it comes to our love lives, and so he has used his children to create anxiety in the hearts of God’s elect.

When are you getting married? Do you have a boyfriend? Be careful, or you’ll end up gathering dust on the shelf, etc. In so doing, the devil is able to weaken the faith of some believers. A second attack would be to cast doubt on the promises of God. And so on…

If believers do not take along the extra oil, their lamps might go out and they will be left in the dark.
Do not be deceived! Do you really think that our Lord will fail us? Do you think He lacks the power to take care of us? Shouldn’t He be able to meet the needs of the subjects of His kingdom? Only a fool would doubt this!

Work at pleasing Him, and He will fulfil the desires of your new heart.
Stand firm and keep the faith, because God’s timing is never late, and never early. Everything happens at exactly the right time.
When you least expect it, you’ll receive the answer.

Be blessed in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and may your dreams come true in the time of Your Father.

The Fast of Daniel—Day Twenty

The Snowball Effect

Two kingdoms, two territories, two masters… The Kingdom of Light vs. the kingdom of darkness; The land of Good vs. the land of evil; The Lord God—Father of His children vs. the lord and father of the children of the world.

Who is the master of your life? What kingdom do you belong to?
Your dreams might not have been realized yet, but if you belong to the Kingdom of God you will find shelter beneath His protection. Nothing can happen to you without the permission of the Almighty.

And if by chance something that seems bad should happen to you, down the road you will understand how it was for your own good.

"A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you."Psalm 91.7

Having said that, those who leave the Kingdom of Light no longer have this protection. This means they automatically enter the kingdom of darkness. From then on, any choices they make, even if they seem right, will still be wrong and will have serious consequences in the end—suffering, pain and worst of all, eternal death.

Jesus said, "I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness..."John 8:12

This means: those who do not follow Me, walk in darkness.
What kind of protection is there for those who walk in darkness?

Many ruin their lives by choosing to marry the wrong person. They eventually get divorced and marry someone else. Later on, they get divorced again and marry another person. In their frantic pursuit of happiness, they keep trading spouses but are never able to stick with anyone—a vicious cycle from hell.

Worst of all, while drifting down this path children are being brought into the world. What future will these children have? They have one father today, another one tomorrow, and the day after, still another...

These little ones will inherit this curse and pass it on to other generations—a snowball effect.
When the spirit does not think, the body and soul will reap the fruits of hell.

The Balance of Faith

The works of the flesh:

Sexual immorality - the soul's desire to please the physical body;

Impurity - revolt against what the soul considers pure and righteous;

Lust - the soul’s excitement with sensuality; a desire to enjoy sex without any responsibility;

Idolatry - the soul’s worship of people, money, things or images. Worshiping or placing an importance on something other than the Lord God first;

Witchcraft - the practice of occult rituals involving spells, curses, incantations, sacrifices of food, drink, animals or even human beings, to witchdoctors or spirits. The celebration or commemoration of special days for particular saints;

Hatred - longstanding feelings of hostility, loathing, ill will or dislike;

Strife - arguments, endless disagreements, quarrelling, friction;

Jealousy - insecurity caused by suspicion, or fear of a rival, in love or some other area of life, a feeling of weakness;

Envy - distress, anger or sorrow for another's success or joy, greed for something good that is being enjoyed by others;

Anger - fury, rage, annoyance, a desire for revenge;

Discord - disagreements, disharmony, quarrels, differences of opinion, fights, etc.;

Dissent - disagreement, dissension, discord;

Factions - rivalry between religious groups, athletic teams, political parties, etc.;

Drunkenness - binge drinking, intoxication, the addiction to alcohol;

Gluttony - the act of eating too much, an insatiable appetite, exceeding the limit of your stomach, etc..

... and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I told you in times past, that those who practise such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.Galatians 5:19-21

The Fruit of the Holy Spirit

...the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.Galatians 5:22

The Fast of Daniel—Day Eighteen

Ugly Duckling

I know what it’s like to be an ugly duckling. I experienced it as a teenager, among schoolmates, at work and even at the church where I came to know my Lord and Savior.

Thank God for humble origins and a lower-middle-class upbringing. If it weren’t for them, only God knows where I would be today.

 I became acquainted with the difficulties of being poor. On the other hand, I learned the value of being humble, especially when it came to the value of keeping your word. My parents were my heroes.

Later on, this helped when it came to believing the Word of God. If I valued my parents’ word, though they were flawed humans, imagine the word that comes out of the mouth of God.

Today, whenever I see people who are ragged, suffering, mistreated and abandoned, I am reminded of my past. Although, I was never ragged because my parents gave us everything we needed for our education. But truth be told, the only place I felt human and not like an ugly duckling was at home.

Right now you may feel ignored, empty, sad and like the world is falling apart around you.
 But Jesus came for people like you and me—life’s ugly ducklings. People who are simple, lost, and above all, humble in spirit. He found me and is certainly finding you right now.

 I don’t even know why I'm writing this to you. But I believe His Spirit has touched me and is now using me to touch you.
What you have or have not done does not matter, nor does your long list of sins and much less your sad and empty past. What others think of you does not matter either...

 What really matters is what He thinks of you. He loves you and is showing this right now by embracing your whole being. You know something: He has just found you right now!

While you are reading this, the Spirit of Jesus is rebuking the weight of your guilt, condemnation and past sins.
 Your thoughts are changing, your emptiness is being filled. A new day is being born for you. Sadness is giving way to joy and at this very moment, you don’t know whether to laugh or cry. Something very powerful is happening inside of you. It’s the Holy Spirit creating a new life within you.

Praise God! Welcome to the family of God.

The Fast of Daniel—Day Seventeen

New Year, new life?

This is what everyone hopes for, even believers in Jesus. But can hope alone give you a new life in the New Year?

All we have to do to answer this question is look back in time. People in the past had the same expectations at this time of year. The same hopes. And what happened? Nothing. For many, it got worse.
 Why is that? Because a new life doesn’t depend on emotions, it depends on an active faith. But in what way?
 Let's go back to biblical times.

God called Abraham to raise up a nation that would be separate from all the other pagan nations.
 While in Egypt, Abraham's grandson, Israel, multiplied and became a great nation. The Lord then delivered them from the slavery of Egypt and helped them build a strong and powerful nation.

But because of their rebellion, Israel returned to the spiritual state of Jacob. They went back to being slaves in a foreign land.

History repeats itself. When people are spiritually healthy, there is peace, health and prosperity, but when they are far from God, the devil takes charge of their lives.

Nearly 100 years had passed since their return to the land of Palestine, and yet, in the days of the prophet Malachi, Jacob had once again become spiritually lost. The priests were immoral and so were the people.

Dishonesty, infidelity, marrying people of other faiths, divorces, idolatry, sorcery, adultery, profanity, stealing and every other sort of immorality was being committed.

And when they cried out to the Lord, He replied: For I am the lord, I do not change. You have gone away from My ordinances... Return to Me, and I will return to you.

 But you said: In what way shall we return?
So the Lord gives the recipe for a new life in the New Year: Be faithful with your tithes and offerings.Malachi 3:6-12
 Of course! A marriage cannot be restored without first restoring the principle of marital faithfulness. The same applies to restoring a covenant with God.

This year, start the New Year by being faithful to God and testing His faithfulness to you.
 See for yourself if His Word is true or false! Tithes represent faithfulness. They are a sign of your partnership with God.
When we are faithful to Him, He is required to do the same to us. That is why He promises to rebuke the devourer.

Whoever wants to begin a new life must be faithful to God with their tithes. Otherwise, they‘ll be hoping for a new life until the day they die, and nothing will have changed.

Think about this!

The Fast of Daniel—Day Sixteen

Jesus kicking the legs out from under the soul

Some seek the recognition of others to massage the ego of their souls; Some use the glamour of the world to satisfy their soul;

Some spend their entire life in the pursuit of personal fulfilment;
Others even die for the glory that this world offers them.
But the glory that this world offers comes from below and ends when a person dies;
Whereas the glory that comes from Above—from the Holy Place—is everlasting. It comes straight from the Source of Glory, and it never ends.

Jesus was glorified by the Father when He received the Holy Spirit, after His water baptism. That day, He heard a voice from heaven saying,
This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3.17

When the Holy Spirit comes He confirms that voice deep inside of those who are sealed with the Spirit.
It has nothing to do with feelings or emotions, and everything to do with assurance.

On another occasion, in anguish of soul, Jesus did not pray for help, let alone relief from the situation He was about to face.
Instead, He used reason to confront the feelings (anguish) of his soul, thereby teaching us a lesson: And what shall I say? “Father, save Me from this hour?” But for this purpose I came to this hour.John 12.27-28

Then He knocked the legs out from under his soul by saying, Father, glorify Your name.
In other words: Father, I sacrifice the impulses of my soul in order to do Your will.

A voice was immediately heard from heaven: I have already brought glory to My name, and I will do so again.John 12.28 NLT
When the crowd heard this voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared that an angel had spoken to Him.

But the most important point is that God the Father glorified God the Son before many witnesses.

The presence of the Holy Spirit gives us the strength to sacrifice the yearnings of our soul and fulfil the will of God. And when this happens, the glory of the Father is manifested in His children for all eternity.

Think about this!

The Fast of Daniel—Day Fifteen

What would you give in exchange for your soul?

Just as material sacrifices lead to material blessings, spiritual sacrifices lead to spiritual blessings.

God invites those who believe to test Him in tithes and offerings. In return, He promises to open the windows of heaven and pour out such blessing, that there will not be room enough to receive it, in addition to rebuking the devourer. Malachi 3:10

Likewise, Jesus promised eternal life to those who would deny themselves, take up their crosses and daily follow Him. Matthew 16:24
In both cases, there is a need for sacrifice. However, the Apostle Paul takes it further when, directed by the Spirit, he pleads:
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship." Romans 12:1

This means that when there are no living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, there is no spiritual act of worship (remember: spiritual = rational). On the other hand, though many songs of worship are filled with messages of love, an emotional act of worship only floods people with feelings of excitement.

Some profess to feel God's presence, others 'speak in tongues' and even 'prophesy'. Let's not even mention those who twirl around, fall to the ground and walk on all fours. If they had wonderful testimonies, this would not be so significant. But, they don’t! Much to the contrary, their lives are total failures: broken homes, adultery, pedophilia, sexual immorality, grudges towards one another, divisions—in short, a true kingdom of darkness.

Why is this? It's because their spiritual act of worship is not rational, intelligent or conscious. How can the Creator be pleased with an emotional act of worship when He is Reason, Intelligence and Wisdom?
An emotional act of worship is similar to a decadent masquerade ball. Its participants wear costumes and masks to camouflage their hypocrisy and the works of their flesh. Who can preside over this spiritual farce?
The truth is, in the absence of spiritual (rational) acts of worship there will be emotional and fleshly acts of worship.

"The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."Galatians 5:19-21

It is interesting that Paul asks, pleads and begs the followers of the Lord Jesus to worship in a spiritual or rational manner, which requires that our bodies be living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. That is, when we praise, worship and contemplate on the Lord it must be done in a thoughtful way.

This kind of worship is not restricted to church. If we are Temples of the Holy Spirit, there will be praise, worship and contemplation wherever we are.

Ideally, everyone in the church has the same faith and Spirit. There, our spiritual (rational) act of worship is united. There are appropriate hymns, songs of praise and individual declarations that exalt our Lord and Saviour.

While some praise, others worship, and still others contemplate the face of the Almighty. Everything is in perfect order and discipline.
Wherever there is this freedom, the Holy Spirit instructs, inspires and directs the praise, worship and contemplation of His Son in a generous, spontaneous and healthy manner.

The Fast of Daniel—Day Fourteen

The Kingdom of Heaven is for those who sacrifice

Readers may ask why we insist on talking about sacrifice. It would be easy not to talk about sacrifice. We would not expose ourselves to criticism, the messages would be lighter, we would please both Greeks and Romans and no one would feel offended.

However, because we do not work according to the rules of this world, we are not merchants of the Word, we do not live off the selling of books, we do not run for political office and are not concerned about attracting religious people, we’ve chosen to follow the inspiration of the Spirit of God and proclaim the truth that sets people free.

Those who believe, go forward. Those who don’t believe, stay behind with the foolish virgins.
 The truth is, when sin does not instantly kill, it slowly beats a sinner to death. Many people, Christian and non-Christian, are groaning and don’t know how to get rid of their agony.

The spirit of sin is possessing mankind and leading them to a state of chaos. Although many people know the Gospel, only a few have the courage to put it into practice and dwell within the shelter of God.
 Most prefer to stick to a message of salvation and avoid the sacrifice of the flesh.
Meanwhile, deceiving and antichristian spirits are free to work, causing relentless suffering in those who believe in God.
 These recent days are not very different from the days of John the Baptist. In those days, not only did he preach repentance, he led sincere Jews to confess and abandon their sins. Matthew 3:1-10

Right now, wouldn’t this be God’s will for your life? What’s the point of looking for God’s help in church when you continue to live in adultery, fornication, stealing, lying, etc…

Who do you think you’re fooling? What do you think you’re going to accomplish? How long are you going to keep this spirit of sin inside of you? Sin is a spirit. Whoever says yes to sin, says yes to its spirit.

How can a person get out of this prison? Sacrifice your flesh until it dies of starvation. Obviously!
 If you sacrifice your flesh, where will the spirit of sin live?
If you want an immediate answer from God, then sacrifice to Him immediately. However, if you do not abandon a life of promiscuity, adultery, lying, stealing, immorality and everything else that pleases the devil, how do you expect the Spirit of God to work in your life?

The Fast of Daniel—Day Thirteen

The lack of oil

Sadly, many see the altar as a haven of safety rather than a place of constant sacrifice.

At the altar they feel “protected” (from a guilty conscience), that their true spiritual state will not be exposed, as if the altar would give them a lifetime warranty, or free them from temptations so that they no longer have to go through the daily fight for their salvation. A sad mistake!

A few weeks ago an incident happen that I’d like to use as a warning to those who find themselves in a similar situation. After being married for seven years, a pastor’s wife cheated on her husband because she was not born of the Holy Spirit.
 She had everything. Her husband was dedicated, a friend and a partner, faithful to God and therefore, faithful to his wife. What more could a wife want from her husband?

But, who knows what made her change her mind. She was moved by a spirit of lust that exercised its control over her, and didn’t think about how the consequence of sin is physical and/or spiritual death.
 Her husband immediately allowed her to leave him. With nowhere to go, no way out, she returned to her parent’s house.
Then, filled with regret, she came crying to the wife of the bishop in charge, asking for help.

 She came looking for support and the assurance that she had lost. She wanted to "borrow oil” from someone she knew would have oil. She was willing to accept any job and submit to any situation as long as she would be close to her old "haven of safety" – a place that gave her the peace she once had, and lost.
This wife wanted to help, but at the same time didn’t want to hinder the work of the Holy Spirit.

So she said to her: "Do you remember the five foolish virgins? That’s right. When the groom returned, their lamps had run out of oil. They ran over to the five wise virgins and asked to borrow some of their oil. And what was their answer? ‘...we can’t give you the oil from our lamps or we will run out of oil too. Go to the market quickly and buy more’. But there was no time and they were left outside."

The bishop's wife concluded by saying: "I can’t take the oil from my lamp and give it to you. Seek while there is time. Make sure you don’t have a lamp that’s run out of oil when the groom comes to meet you."

Please understand, God’s actions are not based on emotions. No! In the end, He will not feel "pity" for those who are outside knocking on the door. Right now you have time to go and buy more, and be spiritually rich. Or can’t you see that you’re running out of oil? Of course you do!

But why is it that many only notice they need more oil after they’ve already run out – when not even one drop is left? Many have a false sense of safety because they are close to the altar.

Spiritual blindness tempts people to think they can play around with sensuality and not run the risk of giving birth to an illegitimate child.James 1:14-15
When we sin we lose the rights that we once had. It’s a waste of time to complain, kick or want to justify ourselves...
 Only those who submit to Jesus and accept who they are before God, and before men, will receive the POWER TO BECOME children of God. They will receive the Holy Spirit and His anointing.

Sooner or later a lack of oil will make the foolish go knocking on other peoples’ doors.

Message for the BRAVE

I doubt that God would require a level of faith from His children beyond what He has already given them!
But whoever wants to know the upper limit of his faith must simply look at the degree of sacrifice that he has been willing to make.

That is why Jesus said: If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself (sacrifice), and take up his cross (sacrifice), and follow Me (sacrifice). Matthew 16.24
It's the same with love.

 Whoever wants to know the actual intensity of their love for a loved one, should simply look at the sacrifices they have been willing to make for them.
The size of the faith is measured by the size of the sacrifice. Whoever does not believe, does not sacrifice; Whoever believes half way, sacrifices half way; Whoever believes 100%, sacrifices 100%.
Wasn’t this Jesus’ response to the hypocrites?
 Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. Mark 12:29-30

What I mean is this: Whoever believes with all his heart, all his soul, all his mind and all his strength, will sacrifice with all his heart, all his soul, all his mind and all his strength.
 Do you get the spirit of the thing?
In other words: Sacrifice your heart; Sacrifice your soul; Sacrifice your mind; Sacrifice your strength.
 This is a fact. There’s no adding or subtracting to this. It’s hard, raw, pure reality.

Whoever wants to receive everything from God (the Spirit of God) has to completely sacrifice heart, soul, mind and strength.

God’s all for our all.
ALL FOR ALL!
 Are you willing to do this? And I’ll say more, those who believe don’t make excuses, they sacrifice. But those who do not believe, seek to justify their unbelief by making excuses and blaming others.

Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother.’” And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.” So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor (sacrifice), and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me (sacrifice). But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful (sacrifice saddens), for he was very rich.Luke 18.18-23

A sacrifice saddens the one making the sacrifice, but shows the quality of his faith to the One receiving the sacrifice.

The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has (sacrifice) and buys that field. Matthew 13:44

As you can see, pure faith is about obedience to the Word of God. Faith requires obedience. And obedience is materialized through sacrifice. Obedience is impossible without sacrifice.
 Abraham was the greatest example of obedience.Hebrews 11.8-17
But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says,“ Abraham believed God (used his faith and sacrificed), and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. James 2.20-24

To summarize: faith without the work of sacrifice does not justify (forgive) anyone before God.

This is why most believers end up as failures, both spiritually and physically. They learned to accept Jesus as Savior, but not as Lord. If Jesus were their Lord, they would sacrifice their lives to serve Him with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.

So then, hear O Israel of the last days, Jesus Christ is only Lord and Savior of THOSE who REALLY serve Him!

My Lord, have compassion on those who are sincere but deceived, and give them another chance. This I implore in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Sacrifice for LIFE

People have been aware of sacrifice since ancient times. It began in the Garden of Eden. The Almighty had to sacrifice an animal to cover up Adam and Eve’s nakedness, thereby replacing the fig leaves—the devil’s inspiration.

The fig leaves symbolize religion’s intent to cover up the nakedness of sin without sacrifice. In general, even evangelical churches do this. They seek to widen the door of the Kingdom of God with a doctrine devoid of sacrifice.

Was there no other way for the Lord to solve the problem of Adam and Eve’s nakedness other than the death of an animal? If there had been, He would have taken it.

Was there a way to save humanity without the sacrifice of Jesus? If there had been, He would have done it.

As you can see, sacrifice is not an option. From the very moment you decide to achieve something in life, you are obligated to open your hand and sacrifice.
The character of a thief rejects sacrifice. He prefers to prosper from other people’s sacrifices. Still, without intending to he risks his freedom and even his life to steal. Isn’t that also sacrifice?
 A murderer would rather kill than forgive or let his victim go free. A proud person chooses to hold on to his arrogance rather than humbling himself and apologizing.

There is no way out! There is no area of our secular or spiritual lives in which sacrifice does not apply. For a successful career you must be dedicated to your studies; To get a monthly salary, you must work; To maintain a healthy marriage, a couple has to sacrifice for each other; To have an encounter with God, you must sacrifice your flesh; To stay in the faith, you must sacrifice your will; To receive the eternal salvation of your soul, you must sacrifice day after day.
 Jesus said ... for whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life (sacrifice) for My sake will find it.Matthew 16:25

At sporting events athletes usually make the sign of the cross before entering the field. In other words, they pray to avoid injury and win.
Others turn to witchdoctors and fortune-tellers.

Sacrifices were so necessary and effective that before certain nations went into battle in the past, their priests would even sacrifice children to attract the favor of their gods.
The history of the people of Israel documents that their sacrifices alone, saved them. Though they made alliances, were the chosen people, had the promises, and above all, had ancestors with accounts of faith, loyalty and commitment to God, in their time of need they still had to sacrifice to survive.

During a war with the Philistines, Saul felt pressured by circumstances, disobeyed the prophet Samuel and offered sacrifices to keep his army from deserting him.I Samuel 13.8-14

He did not have the authority to make those sacrifices. This was the exclusive task of the priests. However, moved by the spirit of fear he rushed to get it done. For this reason God regretted having made him king.

In those days the sacrifices before a battle guaranteed success. Knowing this, the soldiers charged against the enemy absolutely certain of triumph. They knew the secret to victory was their sacrifices to God.

The devil and his children hate sacrifice. Not even when Jesus says: If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me (Matthew 16:24), do our “brothers” believe.

If you are not willing to follow this rule, there is no point in accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
 The Lord Jesus demands three levels of sacrifice:
 First: Deny yourself, Second: Take up your cross and, Third: Follow Him.

Which of the three is easiest? None. All of them require sacrifice, sacrifice and more sacrifice. To those who believe, go forward. To those who do not believe, stay behind with the foolish virgins. Matthew 25:1-13

David’s Mighty Men

King David had close to forty special men. Among these men, thirty were very special and three were extremely special.
The extremely special men were:

#1 – Josheb-Basshebeth the Tahkemonite was the chief of the three. He raised his spear against eight hundred men and killed them all at once.

#2 – Eleazar the son of Dodo was among the three when they defied the Philistines... He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand was weary and stuck to the sword...

#3 – Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines gathered together at Lehi, there was a piece of ground full of lentils, and Israel fled from the Philistines. Shammah stood in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the LORD brought about a great victory.

Then three of the thirty chief men went down at harvest time and came to David at the cave of Adullam. And the troop of Philistines was encamped in the valley of Rephaim. So the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines, drew water from the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate, and took it and brought it to David.

Now Abishai the brother of Joab, was chief of another three. He lifted his spear against three hundred men and killed them. He won a name among these three. He received much honor from them and became their captain. However, he did not attain to the first three.

Benaiah was the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He killed two heroes of Moab. He also went down into a pit and killed a lion on a snowy day. He killed an Egyptian, a man of great stature. The Egyptian had a spear, but Benaiah attacked him with a staff, wrested the spear from the Egyptian’s hand and killed him with it. He won a name among the first three mighty men. He was more honored than the thirty, but he did not attain to the first three. And David appointed him over his guard.2 Samuel 23

The question is: Which of these do you identify with in terms of faith? Or do you not identify with any of them?

Either way, the Spirit of God is seeking men and women with this character of faith to establish His Kingdom in the hearts of those who are humble and sincere, but who have been trapped in the clutches of the Philistines.

Going to church, being a faithful tither and an offering-giver is just not enough. More is needed, much more.
 David's brothers were men of war, soldiers in the army of Israel. But what difference did that make when Goliath appeared? Nothing. They cowered and even criticized David for having the faith to face the giant.

Most believers do the same. Evangelicals, Christians, they are faithful to the Church and their pastor, but at the same time they are weak.

How can the God of Abraham, Isaac, Israel, Moses, Joshua, Jephthah, Gideon, David and many others free the prisoners of satan when He can’t find anyone willing to give their all… no people that place all their heart in the God of Abraham?

The Spirit of God is not about speaking in tongues, worship and singing. The Spirit of the Lord anoints with His fullness in order to proclaim freedom to the captives of hell. Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18

This is why most Christians’ lives are worse than many unbelievers’ lives. They believe in God but do not use their faith. They believe in His promises but do not have the faith to challenge Him to fulfill them. They believe in a theory but do not put it into practice.
 Why? Because deep down, they do not believe. They are wimps! Read, meditate and draw your own conclusions from the following verse:
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him... 2 Chronicles 16:9

To those who believe, go forward. To those who do not believe, stay behind with the foolish virgins. Matthew 25:1-13

Who dares challenge him?

Those who born are born of the Spirit, single and free of any romantic relationship, have an advantage over those who are tied to feelings of the heart. I say this from experience.

When I was around 20 years old, I remember clearly that I had more time to read the Bible, pray and worship my Lord. I would go into my room, lock the door and there in that room, develop my communion with Him.

On one Saturday night as I was reading about David and Goliath, a verse caught my eye and filled me with inexpressible joy. David was sent by his father to take provisions to his brothers and to find out how they were. Arriving there, he spoke to his brothers, and before they could answer he heard the threatening cries of a man of the Philistine army.

Morning and evening for forty days, Goliath challenged anyone from Israel to come out and fight him. “And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him and were dreadfully afraid.”

But David, an inexperienced young man that was unable to serve in the army in any capacity, was not intimidated by the size of that man, who was almost 9 feet tall, or by his specialized armour. Filled with a living faith in the God of his fathers, the young shepherd became indignant at his threat and said: “For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” I Samuel 17.26

There are no words to describe the happiness and boundless joy that filled my being.
Forty-five years have now passed but I still remember this as if it were yesterday. It seemed like the Spirit of God was calling me to stand up to Babylon (religion) and its servants, and the sewer networks (media).

David killed Goliath and cut off his head. But the spirits, of both Goliath and of the Philistines, continue on earth and threaten the armies of the Living God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel.

In response, the Spirit of God through the UCKG, has raised up people from the four corners of the earth with the same spirit as David to confront the “Philistine-Romans”.
Goliath is the sewer network that works for the Roman army.

Those who have ears to hear: listen, understand, be sealed with the Spirit of God and consider yourselves called up for war.

Those who believe in the God of David, come along with us. Those who don’t believe, continue to stay connected to the sewer network and feed on your own excrement.

God bless those who believe.

The Special Forces Squad of the Spirit

Have you ever seen how a soldier is trained in the army? Far more than their body, their mind is trained to control their emotions. This is because they have to be prepared to kill the enemy without mercy if and when they go to war.
Soldiers are trained to destroy the enemies of their home country.
Still, their training is not the best.

When it comes to a special forces squad, a maximum of five out of a hundred applicants are chosen. Their training is extremely harsh and severe. Their mind is trained to make them almost indifferent to physical pain. Imagine their insensitivity to emotions!

If a soldier is not able to overcome his emotions and weaknesses, how will he confront and defeat the enemy? If he cannot win his own internal battles, how will he win his external battles?
For me, the philosophy of a special forces squad is not to die fighting, but to win fighting.

The Kingdom of God is no different. All who are born of the Holy Spirit are part of the Special Forces Squad of Heaven. No child of God is weaker than another. They all have the same Godly DNA, the same Spirit, the same power...
Isn’t this what we believe, that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind? 2 Timothy 1.7

Of course, not everyone is willing to risk his life to protect his faith. It was this way in the past, it is this way in the present and will continue to be this way in the future.

But there are some who stand out. They don’t think twice before sacrificing their lives for what they believe.

Take the Gadites who helped David as an example. The Bible says that they were men of valour, men trained for battle, who could handle shield and spear, whose faces were like faces of lions, and were as swift as gazelles on the mountains… The least was over a hundred men, and the greatest was over a thousand. I Chronicles 12:1-14

God did not withhold His power from the faithful in the past, nor does He in the present. He has equipped His children in such a way that the enemies of the cross have no chance of prevailing.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments… 2 Corinthians 10.4

Those who are born of the Spirit of God never lose. What appear to be losses, failures, frustrations and disappointments are nothing more than training for the Special Forces Squad of the Spirit of God.

All things work together for their good! All things...
When they win, they rejoice in the victory. Hallelujah!
When they lose they cry, mourn and groan—but only for a while.
 Later on, they discover that they have gained. And then, it’s all celebration!
Death, demons, hell, the devil and all his children will tremble with rage when they see us happily, joyfully and glowingly facing the hardships of life.

The children of Cain are dying of envy because of us. Who ordered them not to make the sacrifices of the children of Abel?
LOL!
Win or lose, those who are born of God always win!

The fast of Daniel - Day Seven

From flesh to spirit
 
Due to human nature’s hypersensitivity to emotions it is difficult to deny the desires of the flesh.
The conflict between spirit and flesh has claimed lives... even worse, lives lost for all eternity.

How many love relationships have ended in death? …in suicide? How many lives? Why?

Simply because sensitive people yield to the whims of their feelings. They become hostages to the voice of their desperately wicked, deceitful heart. Its hold is so strong that they do not even stop to reason for a moment. They think that their moments of deep anguish will never end. They think that a lost “love” signals the end of their lives.

But since time is the master of reason, in time they will realise how foolish they were; they were troubled and lost precious time.

While they were melting in tears, the devil couldn’t stop laughing...
Consequently, the great need to have Adam’s nature transformed into a Godly nature, from a living soul to a life-giving spirit, from emotion to reason, from born of the flesh to born of the Spirit.

In this way, Christians will no longer be at a disadvantage in the battle against Satan, or against sin. Because the devil is spirit, he takes advantage of those who live in the flesh. But when Christians are spirit, and even better, when they are spirit and have the DNA of the Holy Spirit, then it’s over for the devil and for all of hell.

There is not even the slightest chance of losing. Those who are born of the Spirit are destined to overcome all things! They overcome the devil, love life problems, addictions, pride, sin and the world. In other words they overcome everything because they are children of God and have His power within them.

This is exactly what the apostle John teaches:
For whatever is born of God (is spirit) overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 1John 5.4
We know that whoever is born of God (is spirit) does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.1john5.18

Seven Spirits

God perfectly understands everyone’s problems. This is why He pours out His Spirit upon all those who seek Him.

The Seven Spirits mentioned in the book of Isaiah do not stand for Seven Holy Spirits. They are attributes that describe the Power of the Spirit of God. He lacks nothing and nothing can be added to Him. He is absolutely perfect.

The prophecy: The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. Isaiah 11:2

Each virtue added to the abundance of the Holy Spirit that would rest upon the physical body of Jesus. He had all the necessary attributes to withstand the attacks of hell during His earthly mission.

In Him would be the Lord, His wisdom, His understanding, His counsel, His might, His knowledge and His fear.

This abundance that was inside of Jesus is exactly what the Holy Spirit continues to do with His children. They also have the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and fear.

This means that there is no human problem beyond the reach of the seven virtues of the Holy Spirit. With the Lord, His wisdom, His understanding, His counsel, His might, His knowledge and the fear of the Lord, there is a solution to every problem on the face of the Earth.

That includes yours!
It is true that we haven’t all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting. Ephesians 4:13-14

But this does not mean that the abundance of the Lord Jesus is not yet within us.
With the richest man in the world, his wealth belongs to his under age children, yet they will only take possession of it when they reach the age of an adult.
For this reason, the children of God need to mature in faith.

The abundance of the Spirit is within His children and servants. However, not all of them are able to understand such greatness because of their spiritual childishness. Teaching this to children of the flesh is like casting pearls before swine.
To sum it all up: in the same way that the Abundance of the Holy Spirit lived within Jesus, it also lives within those who are born and sealed of God.

This is why any and all sacrificial offerings given to receive the Spirit of God are worthless in comparison to the Offering given in return by God. It is God’s all for our worthless offering.

Who can understand this glorious mystery?

When this happens, the word of the LORD of Hosts will be fulfilled, which says: Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Peoples shall yet come, inhabitants of many cities; the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, ‘Let us continue to go and pray before the LORD,  and seek the LORD of hosts. I myself will go also.’

Yes, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem,  and to pray before the LORD
Thus says the LORD of hosts: “In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you'"Zechariah 8:20-23

Two Kinds of Offerings

The Ark of the Covenant was taken by the Philistines in a war against Israel. It symbolized the Glory of Israel.

For the 7 months that the Philistines kept the Ark it brought disease, death and plagues for the people.

The Ark of the Covenant was sacred. It represented the presence of God among His people, in the same way that tithes and offerings do. Whoever holds on to them will be subject to the spirit of curses.

When God tells His people to bring their tithes and offerings to His house, He immediately afterwards guarantees that he will rebuke the devourer, that is the curse or plague destroys those who rob.

Pressured by the curse of holding onto the Ark, the Philistines decided to give it back to Israel, and consulted their priests and diviners on how to make this return.
Though they were servants of evil, they knew that the plague would not end without a guilt offering.

They answered: “Five golden tumors and five golden rats, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines. For the same plague was on all of you and on your lords. Therefore you shall make images of your tumors and images of your rats that ravage the land, and you shall give glory to the God of Israel...”I Samuel 6:1-5
The giving of guilt offerings is an obligation.

King David also had to sacrifice to remove the plague-curse that had fallen upon the people of Israel.

God had to sacrifice His Son Jesus to remove the plague of sin that was upon mankind.

Whoever wants to be filled with the Holy Spirit has sacrifice his will, his desires and his own life to receive Him.

This type of offering is a manifestation of faith that demands obedience. Either a person believes, sacrifices and is free from the curse through obedience, or he will suffer the consequences of the curse through disobedience.

An offering of sacrifice must be made. If it is not made for the personal benefit of eternal salvation, it will be for the misfortune of eternal damnation.

The blessing comes from obedient to the Word of God with sacrifice. The curse comes as a consequence of disobedience to the Word of God.

One thing is certain: With either obedience or disobedience to the Word of God, a sacrifice will have to be made, both for salvation and for damnation.

Those who sacrifice, obey. Those who obey, sacrifice and are saved. Those who do not sacrifice, disobey. Those who disobey, do not sacrifice and will be sacrificed in the Lake of fire and brimstone.

Voluntary offerings are inspired by the Spirit of God. Whereas guilt offerings involve an exchange, the Spirit-inspired involves purity and richness of spirit. It is the purest expression of love, unselfishness and trust in God.

The giver gives without expecting anything in exchange. They give by faith, out of love... They give with total joy. It is called a generous offering because it is inspired by God.

Through Paul, the Holy Spirit Himself teaches about this offering when he says:  ”So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

Do you want to receive the abundance of God?  Then sacrifice your abundance to Him.  It's all for all.  To those who believe, amen. To those who don’t believe, what more can I say?

Born of the Holy Spirit and baptism in the Holy Spirit

These are two completely different things. However, the baptism in the Holy Spirit depends on being born of the Spirit.

 The Fast of Daniel aims to meet two key points:  First, lead those who have a sincere heart to the new birth.
 That is, being born of the Holy Spirit.

But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (the Spirit of God).John 1:12-13
Jesus said: That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:6

Second, lead those who have already been born of God to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place... And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…Acts 2:1-4
Those were filled with the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost had already been born of God.

The apostle Paul only had the authority to lay hands and administer the baptism in the Holy Spirit after being certain that those disciples were born of God. Take a look:
He said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” And he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?” So they said, “Into John’s baptism (baptism with water).”

Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.” When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. Acts 19:2-6

Can people who live in sin receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit?
Can those who are enslaved by sin receive the Holy Spirit?
No, no and no!

How can Jesus fill someone who lives and loves sin with His Spirit?
That would be a complete contradiction; it’s like saying that a righteous person agrees with an act of injustice.

First, they must die to sin and then repent.

Second, they must call upon the Lord Jesus for their salvation.

These acts of faith will show the person’s willingness and sincerity to the Holy Spirit, who – in turn – will come upon them to perform the miracle of the new birth.

Look at what happened in the past: After the apostle Peter pointed out their sins, the Jews asked him: What shall we do?
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized (in water) in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission (forgiveness) of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:37-38

This means that, first you must repent (new birth), and then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (baptism in the Holy Spirit).

Repentance is not a feeling of remorse.
Repentance is acknowledging your sin and abandoning it immediately. Then, learning to hate it and run away from it.

Again: The Baptism in the Holy Spirit only happens after the new birth.
Can a sincere person be born of the Spirit and right after, receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit?
 Sure!

Who can possibly stop an act of God?

The Character of God

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power. — Abraham Lincoln

A person’s character relates to his or her moral values, nature and behavior.

Only those who are born of the Holy Spirit truly manifest the character of God, and that is because His children become spiritual beings. John 3.6

Their emotional or fleshly nature is changed into a rational or spiritual nature.
This is why many faithful members of the Church, and overly religious believers are left wondering why they are still unable to live lives that agree with Christian faith. They behave one way in church and in a completely different way outside. In church they act righteous, polite and seemingly spiritual.

At home, at work, and among their friends they are fleshly, rude and clearly troubled people.

This happens because they have not been born of the Holy Spirit. They do not have God’s nature. They are convinced of the truth, but are not yet converted to the Lord Jesus. Their character speaks for itself.

Humans are emotional by nature—it all began with Adam and Eve. God created them living beings.

A Godly nature is a spiritual nature, one that originates with Jesus. He was not created by God; He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and therefore a life-‐giving spirit. I Corinthians 15.45

The same process used by the Holy Spirit in the birth of Jesus has to happen with each one of Jesus’ disciples. Otherwise, they will continue to have Adam’s nature—and even worse, they will not be considered children of God. John 1.13

This is the amazing role of the Holy Spirit: He causes some to be born of God. And for those who have already been born of God, He comes to stamp them with the Seal of God. This is the baptism that the Lord Jesus performs.

The first apostles were born of God when Jesus breathed on them. John 20.22

But only on the Day of Pentecost were they baptized with the Holy Spirit. Acts 2.1
As you can see, the purpose of the Holy Spirit is not speaking in tongues, but for you to display the same character as His Son: Jesus.

Strange tongues

When we talk about baptism with the Holy Spirit, the first thing that comes to the mind of a believer is speaking in tongues.

There’s no thirst for God, there’s no desire to change one’s life, let alone be the temple of the Spirit of God. There’s only a desire to speak in tongues.

This “holy” ambition has nothing to do with God. Rather, it is a mere manifestation of vanity fuelled by deceiving spirits. These spirits use emotions to deceive imprudent people, making them feel weird sensations that culminate in their speaking in tongues.

That’s why many people are following the “slain in the spirit” doctrine, walking on their hands and knees like a lion in the zoo.

This and other eccentricities have been happening simply because these people do not have the Spirit of Truth.

Under no circumstances should a person desire to be baptised with the Holy Spirit because he or she wants to speak in tongues. If they speak, just as the Bible says, fine; if they don’t speak, then what? The Spirit of God is not limited to the gift of speaking in tongues. The fact that a person does not speak in tongues should not be a reason for doubting, which will end up impeding the Holy Spirit to work.

The baptism with the Holy Spirit is not for a person to speak in tongues, but to enable God’s servants to do His will and to perform His Work.

Besides, how can we discern between good and evil in this corrupt and hypocritical world, filled with deception? How can we know whom to date and marry according to the will of God?

What career should we choose in order to be more useful in the Kingdom of God?

Which church is of God?

How to distinguish between a false and a true man of God if they both speak or preach His Word?

How to separate the weed from the wheat?
How to identify the voice of God and the voice of the devil?
These and other doubts are cleared up when we are under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

Who better than the Holy Spirit to guide His children into all truth?
The Lord Jesus said, “… when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16.13)

O my God and my Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus, guard Your people from the spirits of the antichrist and of deception. Amen.

The Fast of Daniel—Day One

And the heavens were opened…

“When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.” Matthew 3:16

This is not for the curious or risk takers, nor is it for hypocrites, overly religious or worldly people.
The Spirit of God is for those who are empty, poor, and especially, for those who thirst for Divine direction. It is a stepping stone for those who seek something far beyond anything this world has to offer.

Jesus was sent on a special mission. However, He still had to pay a price. He sacrificed. He renounced His family, youth, love life and friendships to accomplish His mission. And if He needed the direction of the Holy Spirit to guide Him, imagine those who wish to do His will and His work!

Most importantly, His mind and heart were already inspired by the Holy Spirit, even before He received Him.
The same will happen with all of those who are completely immersed in the faith of the Fast of Daniel.

Do you think that the yearning you have to receive the Holy Spirit came out of nowhere? No! A thousand times, no!
This was planted inside of you by the power of the Spirit of God.
“...for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13

Therefore, just as the heavens were opened over Jesus, they will also be opened over you to receive the same Spirit of God.
After all, He is the promise of the Lord Jesus to His followers.

Most likely, you will not see a dove descending upon your head, or feel anything out of this world. You won’t probably even speak in tongues. It does not matter. None of that is relevant.
The important thing is: if you renounce this world completely (mental fast), and seek with sincerity, then there is faith. And if there is faith, the heavens are already open over your head.

Also:
"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him..." 2 Chronicles 16:9

Note: Find a secluded place right now.
Then, repeat this prayer:

My God and my Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I come into Your presence to seek and receive the promise that says it would come to pass that the Lord would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh.
John the Baptist taught us that it is the Lord Jesus who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I call out to You, my Lord, my Savior and my God, baptize me RIGHT NOW WITH YOUR SPIRIT!

CONSIDERING GOD!

The secret of the success of leaders of those time is: They valued their God. Yes, they really showed their respect to God. For eg: Let us talk about King David in (2 Samuel 7:1-2).

“Now it came to pass when the king was dwelling in his house, and the LORD had given him rest from all his enemies all around, that the king said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains.”

He expressed his concern for building a house for God. Thinking about house for God, is thinking about God, because the bible says church is the Body of CHRIST. David is a faithful king, when it says in verse 1 after he got settled, and was in peace, he did not think about his future, instead, FIRST he thought about God .David’s consideration for God is so much, he danced in front of everyone even being a King.

It’s like a “PARTNERSHIP” God thinks about him, he thinks about God, that’s it! People fail because; there is no consideration for God in their life with whom they are asking help for. This consideration what is so called “Tithe”, when bringing it to the house of God thinking about Him and also is a way of showing our desire for His Partnership with us. From simple a shepherd, David became the Great King because of his consideration for God. So God is the same if you are ready to be like David, your life also will be great. Start considering God and succeed financially through Monday meetings at 7 pm.

Daniel's Fast

The last 21 days of 2011 we will be gathered together with the same purpose, fasting for the purification of our soul, mind and heart, unlike the times we fast, this time we will not abstain ourselves from food, but from something that has distracted many people nowadays from focusing on their relationship with God, such as the reading of the bible, prayers and etc.

Not that I'm here assuming we should stop browsing, but as the bible itself says; there is time for everything.
For many people internet is a tool at work, but for others unfortunately it has been a tool for their own destruction.

Therefore this time we will abstain ourselves these 21 days from every kind of secular information, such as internet, radio, Television and others, focusing only in the word of God (Bible).

Start this December 11, Ending December 31.

The Parable of the Lost Coin

“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:8-10)

The woman described is a poor peasant, and the ten silver coins, corresponding to ten days wages, "likely represent the family savings." The coins may also have been the woman's dowry, worn as an ornament. Both theories may be true, and either one explains the urgency of the woman's search, and the extent of her joy when the missing coin is found.

First she lights a lamp, necessarily expending oil, so that she can see clearly. Next, instead of simply glancing here and there, she uses a broom or some utensil to sweep her house so that she can reach places that might otherwise be inaccessible to her. Above all, she searches carefully. There is no hint of indifference, only diligence. This coin was valuable; she must find it at all costs.

How does the woman search for her lost coin?

(1) She lights a lamp. 
The houses in Palestine were very dark. Most had only one small circular window that admitted but little light. So the woman lights her lamp hoping to see the answering glint of precious metal in its warm glow. Perhaps the gleam of polished silver would catch her eye. "Your word is a lamp for my feet,   a light on my path." (Psalm 119:105)

(2) She gets out her broom. 
The woman swept away the rushes, dirt and dust that hid her coin from view. Perhaps she hoped to hear the ring of metal upon the stone floor of her dwelling. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. (Matthew 23:25-28)

(3) She was thorough in her search.
The woman searched carefully for her lost coin. There was nothing perfunctory about her search. "Seek the LORD while he may be found, call on him while he is near." (Isaiah 55:6)

(4) She searched with perseverance. 
The woman searched until she finds it. She persisted in her search until successful. She was determined to find it. "Look to the LORD and his strength, seek his face always." (Psalm 105:4)

THE LOVE FOR THE LOST ONE

The Lord Jesus Christ told this parable to illustrate how precious is one lost soul, but what else can we learn with it, certainly if we meditate and understand all these steps and put into practice we will alway watch out to do not become one lost coin.

THE VICTORY !

Although problems are all around us and many things disturb us, we must have the assurance that satan is already defeated and his sentence is declared: the eternal punishment in the lake of fire and sulphur. Jesus has already crushed his head.

“Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death - that is, the devil” (Hebrews 2:14). The word of God says that Jesus has already destroyed the devil and his power - even if our adversary denies and becomes furious and brave. Jesus has already defeated him, destroying his power through His life and death on the cross.

“And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.” (Colossians 2:15). The power the
darkness, before the authority of Jesus, is like nothing, it does not exist. We should understand this truth, and through this revelation assume our place in the celestial regions, reigning with Christ. “ Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” (I Peter 5:8).

Even if he has strength and presents himself as a ferocious lion, he is not the true Lion, the One from the tribe of Judah. We should understand that the sacrifice of the cross was enough to destroy the power of darkness. That’s why Jesus before giving His spirit to the Father, said: “It is finished.” (John 19:30). And it is really finished.

The cross-destroyed the power of darkness. Satan was dealt a deadly blow; he knows that the cross is the symbol of his defeat. That’s why we always have in our churches a cross, and at its side the affirmation: JESUS CHRIST IS THE LORD. We have to face this battle that we are waging with the demons that belong to the army of Satan having these basic weapons: chains of prayer in the church, fasting, vigils, etc. And the sacrifice of Jesus on Calvary.

THE TRUE LIGHT!

"When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD. (Exodus 34:29)

In the book of 1 Jonh chapter 1 e verse 5 the bible says;
"This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all."

As you could read, now you can have a better idea that God is the light that wants shine on you, but in order for it happens you must approach to Him.

Moses took steps towards God in obeying His voice, tough physically he had no conditions to do what Go asked him, his concern became in just following God's orders.

If you really want the light of God, then stop giving excuses to yourself saying its to hard to approach to the light.

Remember He as the light is waiting for your first step in order to make a great change in your life.

CAMPAIGN OF ISRAEL

"There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”

When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”

And Moses said, “Here I am.”

“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” (Exodus 3:2-5)

Why did ask God for Moses to take off his sandals? God would not ask moses to take off the sandals unless if the sandals would have negative influence.

The fact is that the presence of God filled the Mount with power (Energy), the Mount was full of energy, because of the presence of God.

The sandals would be an insulator (doubt) before God promise something to Moses, which was the great deliverance of the people of Israel from egyptian slavery, He said, "Take off your sandals" Moses could not hear what God would promise him with sandals on his feet.

Without sandals, Moses would be a recipient of the power of God, and would be on the top of Mount Sinai before God with all his strength.

In fact, those who believe will climb by faith the Mount Sinai, with no sandals, in other words with no doubts and will participate of this campaign of Israel with all the strength they have.

I believe that those who did not overcome through their faith in God, did not overcome because they yet did not take off their sandals, (doubts of their heart) Therefore they did not put all their strength.

First God said: "Do no come any closer" but, after taking off the sandals, God says: So now, go. I'm sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt". (Exodus 3:10)

Moses climbed the Mount without power (energy), without light; but because he believed he came down from the Mount Sinai full of light, energy and power to face the devil working through Pharaoh.

God saw, heard and came down. Do you believe?
So take off your sandals and climb the Mount Sinai with all your strength.

CHAIN OF PRAYER

What is it?

A chain of prayer is when you attend a prayer meeting for a certain number of weeks without interruption in order to see breakthrough in your life. Whether it is healing, a financial breakthrough or spiritual deliverance that you need, a chain of prayer is guaranteed to help you develop the faith and determination to overcome.
Before starting a chain you will need to decide what you want to fight for, and then decide the day, or days that you will make your chain. A requirement to making a chain of prayer is that you attend a Sunday service every week.

Learning how to release your faith

When a person makes a chain of prayer their faith is encouraged, awakened and prepared to take possession of God's promises. But due to the seriousness of their problems, some are so overwhelmed and worried that they find it hard to use their faith in the first prayer meeting they attend. Though it does happen, only a few receive what they want on their very first visit. One prayer is not enough. Even Jesus taught us to pray always and never give up (Luke 18.1)

THE FIREFLY AND THE SERPENT

Once upon a time, a serpent chased a firefly.
The latter fled rapidly, afraid of the ferocious predator, but the serpent didn’t even think about giving up. The firefly fled one day and the serpent didn’t give up; two days, and nothing…

On the third day, now clearly weakened, the firefly stopped and asked the serpent:

• Can I ask you three questions?

• I don’t usually proceed this way with anyone, but since I’m going to devour you anyway, you may ask…

• Am I part of your food chain? • No.

• Did I harm you in any way? • No.

• So then, why do you want to finish me off?

 • Because I can’t stand to see you shine…

Many times, we don’t understand the reason for persecution, anger, lies, slander, etc.

But here is one of the reasons: they simply can’t stand to see us shine!

Transmitter and Receiver

Faith is energy.

Positive when it comes from the Throne of God.
Negative when it comes from hell.

God uses His servants to bring that power to everyone.
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel (transmit Power) to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." Mark 16:15-16

Some transmit a positive energy and others transmit a negative energy.
For that energy to have any affect there must be a receiver. Otherwise, nothing will happen.
The energy that comes from God, which is His power, is only effective for those who accept it unconditionally. They are the recipients.

That is how the power of faith works.
The Word of God is the energy that comes from His mouth and it only benefits those who believe.
"Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm (power) of the Lord been revealed?" Isaiah 53:1
When hell transmits doubts, or negative energy, it needs people who will accept them. If there is no receiver, their negative energy has no effect.

Witchcraft only works when its victim finds out about it and believes.
Otherwise, it won’t have any affect.
Divine promises can only have an effect when there is unconditional belief.

May all the receptors be abundantly blessed.

Why haven’t I already receive the Holy Spirit?
Because you have not yet surrendered 100%.
Or do you think the Faithful Judge is being unfaithful
to you? He promised:
“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you
another Helper, that He may abide with you
forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot
receive…“
John 14.16-17

He has already prayed for you and guaranteed that
the Father would give Him. So what’s missing for This
Promise to be fulfilled in your life?

Could it be your marriage to the world? But you
already divorced the world and married Jesus. Isn’t
that right?

Therefore you have rights through your faith in the
Lord.
Throw all your strength into seeking and take hold of
your rights through the promises of your Lord.
Would God the Father deny a request of God the
Son? I doubt it.

This Sunday, come prepared to receive the Seal of
God, undeserving as you are! Be ready for an
unconditional surrender of body, soul and spirit.

The Secret of my Salvation

I always fear and tremble for my salvation because the Holy Spirit has convinced me of this… For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

This word has given birth to a fear without precedent within me.

Together with the prophecy of Ezekiel, the Holy Spirit continually reminds me of my greatest possession:

“…The righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.

When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die.

Again, when I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right, if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right; he shall surely live.” Ezekiel 33.12-16

The Mark of Cain…

Many have tried to play hide-and-seek with God. They’ve treated God like a tired, old man running after tricky little children.

Israel did this in the past. They didn’t think much of His voice. But history confirms that His voice never failed. The rebelliousness of those people caused them to become slaves in other lands where they were humiliated and put to shame.

The same has happened to ex-members, ex-pastors, ex-assistants, ex-pastors wives, etc, etc, etc… They carry the mark of Cain on their face and do not have the strength to return to faith because they have abandoned the Fountain of living waters.

And one more time, the prophecy says:
O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake You shall be ashamed. Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters. Jeremiah 17.13

This has come true…

There would be no need to have BOOKS if the quantity of names of the lost was equal to the saved. But the number of the lost is so immense that it required more books. Accordingly, books were opened.

This powerful revelation should cause people to prioritize the salvation of their souls more than anything else in this world. This has to do with the eternal life of our souls, not a mere long life of a hundred years!
And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. Revelation 20.12
The people whose names are written in these BOOKS will be judged, condemned, and quickly thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone.

There will be no defense lawyer or accusations, because the BOOKS will have already registered the works of each one. There will be no appeal to a superior court because the Judge is the Eternal Lord, the Ultimate Authority of the Heavens, Earth and the entire Universe.
And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20.15

The Fast of Daniel—Day Fifteen

The Book of Life
All children are given a name at birth that establishes
their identity. A child then becomes a citizen is
protected by the Law. As long as he is alive, his
name is included in the active file of the living. After
death, his name is placed in the inactive file of the
deceased, which has solely legal uses for his
descendants.

But even though your name is in the file of the
deceased, before God your soul continues to live
and your name is written in one of two books: that of
Life or that of the Second Death.

We did not choose to come into this world, but we
have the right to choose where we will live for
eternity.

If in life you did things to cause your name to be
placed in the Book of Life, you will receive not only a
glorified body (1 Corinthians 15.54) by also a new
name. And at that time your old identity will once
and for all disappear.

Like an angelic body, it will not have any memory of
life on earth. If your loved ones’ names are found in
the Book of Life, they will have the same privilege.
But you will not remember each other, nor remember
that one day you lived on earth.

“Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make
all things new.’” Revelation 21.5

Is not worthy of Me...

A conscience that is pure and operating by faith permits nothing,
absolutely nothing, to put the eternal salvation of our souls at risk.
Persuasive emotions or appeals of the heart regarding the things we most love, such as children, mother, father, husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, reputation, possessions…

even our own life, cannot interfere with a healthy relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
“He who loves father or mother more
than Me is not worthy of Me.
And he who loves son or daughter more
than Me is not worthy of Me.
And he who does not take his cross and follow
after Me is not worthy of Me.”

Matthew 10.37,38

Any sacrifice, regardless of how big it is, is insignificant when compared to the eternal salvation of our souls.
To save those who believe, He did not allow even His own Divine position to standing the way of becoming a Curse on the Cross.

In other words, He used ALL HIS STRENGTH, HONOR AND GLORY to save us.
He was not worried about the extent of His sacrifice.
How can He accept us playing around and being casual with the salvation of our souls?
At this moment the Holy Spirit will make you understand this, as you read these words:
“And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20.15

You don’t deserve the Holy Spirit… you sinned… you made a mistake… you failed… you got angry… you masturbated… you gave in… you fell into temptation… you broke your fast… you’re fake… you want Him but you only think about your boyfriend… you lied… you committed adultery… you have dirty thoughts… you’ve done so many wrong things and now you want to act all holy… you are this… you are that… you… you…

On the other hand, the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit says:
I already paid the price for your freedom. If you believe in Me, your problem is now Mine. Your life is Mine. Before My Father you are clean, washed, purified by My blood.
Do you believe in this? Then don’t listen to anyone else, especially the devil! I’m the One that gives the Holy Spirit. So just listen to My Voice and believe.

For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6.20

Finally, some have more zeal for their perishable

bodies than they do for their immortal souls.

Where is the heart of Jesus?

“The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit

Where are the feelings in the pouring out of the Holy
Spirit upon Jesus?
The Spirit of the LORD—the Spirit of Wisdom—the Spirit
of Understanding—the Spirit of Counsel—the Spirit of
Might—the Spirit of Knowledge—the Spirit of the Fear
of the Lord.

Which of these 7 attributes of the Spirit involves
emotion, the heart or the soul? All have to do solely
with the intellect, reason and consciousness. This is
the difference between soul and spirit.

The first man Adam became a living being. The last
Adam became a life-giving spirit. 1 Corinthians 15.45
What do you choose: continue being a living being,
or be transferred into a life-giving spirit? If you want
to be spirit, the example of Jesus, then you have to
apply your intellect to the Word of God and not to
feelings.

Who has them?
Of course, everyone has ears - ears to hear relatives, doctors, girlfriend, boyfriend, acquaintances, colleagues, neighbors, news, etc., etc., etc.

But who has ears to hear the voice of the Spirit of God?

It is not always sweet, tender or soft.
At times it is strong, straight to the point and rough.

He does not speak to the heart, since it lacks the courage to obey.
And yet I doubt He would have trouble solving any problem.

With a flood of advice, who would choose to hear the voice of God?

To the interested He says:

"Oh, That My people would listen to Me...
I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn My hand against their adversaries...
I would have fed them also with the finest of wheat; and with honey from the rock I would have satisfied you." Ps 81:13-16

He comes to quench the cravings of those who thirst; to give life to the dry land; to bring renewal; to give sight to the blind; to free the captives from spiritual ignorance…

In a word, to transform the valley of dry bones into a great army of warriors for the Living God.
This Living Water is the Holy Spirit.

When you receive Him, His thoughts will proceed from your lips and impart life.

The authority of children

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of which it is said:
He came to His own (Israel), and His own (the children of Israel) did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:11-13)

Those born of the Spirit of God have power. They even have the authority of God the Father to forgive sins (John 20.23), how much more, to overcome the evil of this world! (1 John 5.4)

But…
Why do we see people who accept Jesus and yet do not have the power of God’s children?
Because they are born of blood (common to all), or of the will of the flesh (the result of human immorality), or of the will of man (the dreams of parents).
Not one of these children was born of the will of God. Therefore, they do not have the power of God’s children.
Only those born of the Spirit of God can be considered legitimate children of God.

May the Spirit of God be upon you, in Jesus name.

CHALLENGE OF GIDEON

THE DAY OF THE CAMPAIGN - 17.07.2011

GOD IS A GOD OF REACTION

Revolt is energy. Depending on how it’s used, it can either bring on benefits or destruction. Most angry people tend to use this power for evil.
Revolted youth dealing with family problems will often turn to drugs and a life of crime. When someone’s consumed with revolt and facing a dead-end situation, they use this revolt as courage to end their lives. After being betrayed, the victim uses their revolt to get revenge on their betrayer. As we can see, each one is using anger to fuel their actions.

When someone is revolted and uses their power for evil, they don’t care about the consequences. Once they’ve owned up to being a lost cause, they externalize their anger in the form of hatred.
Imagine this anger in the service of God!
Instead, they’d be externalizing that revolt against the spiritual forces of evil that cause injustice.

This power, along with Divine direction, won’t only reverse one specific problem; it will change everything. In other words, when anger is used in partnership with God, it promotes the person’s well-being and their whole family. How? By allowing God’s Spirit to come upon them.

Try it out: put your revolt at the service of God. It will awaken your pure faith and you'll see the Greatness of God!
Revolta Santa
Revolt does not come from nothing but from a strong reaction against the injustice faced by the person.
On the contrary of those who are relaxed in their faith the revolted ones fight with boldness for Their rights conquered on the cross (Jesus sacrifice) they go for all or nothing, life or death before of God whom made promises to Abraham, Isaac and Israel.

The revolted ones have inside of them spirit of indignation of the injustice they are facing and they reject it not accepting live this way.

To exemplify it we can talk about Abraham that tired of waiting finally told God:
But Abram said, O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless…? (Genesis 15:2)

How about Moses when he said: If this is how you are going to treat me, put me to death right now— if I have found favour in your eyes— and do not let me face my own ruin. (Numbers 11:15)

Likewise did Gideon and said: But sir, Gideon replied, if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our fathers told us about…? (Judges 6:13)

Each one of them had cross their limits of despair, they did not fear for their lives or for the life of their families, that was all or nothing.

But through this revolt quickly came the answer to Abraham:
Then the word of the LORD came to him: This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir.
He took him outside and said, Look up at the heavens and count the stars— if indeed you can count them. Then he said to him, So shall your offspring be. (Genesis 15: 4-5)
Immediately to Moses: The LORD said to Moses: Bring me seventy of Israel's elders…” (Numbers 11:16)
The answer also came to Gideon when the Lord said: The LORD turned to him and said, go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian's hand…” (Judges 6:14)

Revolt is the weapon against all your injustices.

Don't forget the day to express your revolt - 17th July 2011 - it is the same day, that God wants to see you revolt and wants to react in respond to your action.

REVOLT

Our job, as men of truth, is to give people the divine instruction. Once this divine instruction is put into practice, it brings the desired results. This only happens with those who practise, and not with those who just listen to the instruction.

God has His own timing, and we can speed it up, or redeem it, through our faith. Yes, through faith, we can redeem time, or shorten it, in order to achieve the benefits of practical faith.

A mere listener will not redeem time, because he practises a religion, not faith. Knowledge without wisdom has no value, in the same way that faith without works is dead.

If I do everything right, but I do not have an attitude of REVOLT, I will not take possession of the promise. Between God and us, there is a promise that we have to conquer but, as we already know, everything we want from God is taken by effort, challenge, revolt and surrender.

Taking possession of the promise is to have an attitude of REVOLT; it is to bring the promise to me. Gideon redeemed time with his attitude of REVOLT.

“If the Lord is with us, why has all this happened? Where is the God of our fathers?”

There was knowledge, but only when there was an attitude of REVOLT things changed.

REVOLT + CHALLENGE make us achieve what we want.

Religious people wait for God to change things. Doers bring the promises to his life through his attitude of REVOLT and CHALLENGE; they redeem time.

In the same way that love demands sacrifice, the feeling that connects us with God, which is faith, demands REVOLT, PRACTICE and COURAGE.

Whoever wants to take possession of what belongs to him has to be more courageous than he has ever been.

OUR REVOLT IS OUR STRENGTH!

THE CAMPAIGN

What is the Campaign of Israel?
Since the beginning of the UCKG, the Campaign of Israel has been taking place twice a year, usually in the months of January and July.

The objective of the Campaign of Israel is to awaken people’s faith. Everybody has faith but, if it’s dormant, it will not bring any benefits to the one who has it.

For this reason, during the Campaign of Israel, we talk about events that happened in the time of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Elijah, and other men who, through practical faith, achieved the fulfilment of God’s promises.

When a person’s faith is awakened and he puts it into practice, he is blessed—regardless of his skin colour, race, education, social status or physical appearance.

There are thousands of testimonies of people who received health, prosperity, a blessed family, who found their other half, in other words, people who could only see their dreams come true when they exercised their faith and participated in a Campaign of Israel.

The UCKG is a reflection of the people, who have been growing spiritually; and this spiritual growth results in a better quality of life.

The Campaign of Israel is major worldwide event, where bishops and pastors from all over the globe gather people’s requests and take them to special places in the Holy Land, where important historical events took place, changing the life of many people, nations and even humankind.

Why Should I Be Revolted?

What is the reason why God allows His people that He loves most suffers so many problems or injustices? Would it happen because God is testing them?

We really don’t believe that God tests people with a problem, a sorrow or burdens, but allows them to happen in order to see the manifestation of our faith in Him, and only those who are fed up, revolted against the problems they are facing have more chances to express such faith to God and be rewarded by Him.

Most of the time people complain about the problems faced in their lives and they wrongly end up blaming someone or even God for their failures.
What people don’t know is that the situation or the problems they are involved with are barely a chance they have to put out their ANGER (REVOLT) in order to finish the problem.

But unfortunately many people are still naïve regarding faith and knowing nothing about how to use their revolt (faith) they simply decide to do what many people do when they are pushed by their emotions; suicide, homicide and other crazy things people are capable to do when they are led by emotions.

God taught us in the book of Hebrews chapter 10 and verse 38 the following thing; “But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him”.

This is exactly what God wants from us, that we should live by faith because our lives depend on Faith and faith with quality which produces a life with quality. But, what is a faith with quality?
In order for you to have quality in your faith you must exercise it, in other words only confrontation against the evil that is causing your problems provides you experiences, quality which produce the result you want.

Let me be much clear, I can give the example of our human body, when you are 10 years old there is no need for exercise you are too healthy therefore too stronger, But when you reach the age of 40 or 50 years old you quickly learn the importance to exercise your body.

With faith is the same, when everything is fine there is no need to use your faith and most of the time we stop praying, fasting, reading bible and even minimize the time we come in the church and this is exactly what makes your faith weak and gives room for doubts.

Obviously if your faith is weak your doubts become bigger and bigger causing fears, despair, worries, anxieties, insecurity and eventually failures.

But when your faith is strong you have a different mind, different thoughts and a different vision, something tells you that your problems are nothing, that you can overcome all, so you always remain confident because you know that with God you are more than over comer.

Therefore if God allows our problems to exist, He only allows for our own benefit that is what we understand when we read; (Romans 5:3-4) “Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

Based on this message it becomes clear that revolt against our problems makes the flame of our faith on and in consequence of it we take action against the problem provoking a great change.

ACKNOWLEDGE:
Admit the existence, reality, or truth of something, recognize as being valid or having force or power.
CALL:
A cry made as a summons or to attract someone's attention.

God's Covenant with Noah

Noah's covenant was God's second trial to redeem the human being from Death Empire.
He had already promised to set His covenant with Noah before the flood, as this was the sole honest and faithful man He had found upon the earth at that time.

The Bible describes Noah as a besides (Gen 6:9). After such qualities of character, he got the grace and privilege of being the only man at his time to be in covenant with God.
The human being's situation before God changed completely after the Lord Jesus Christ's coming.

Noah’s case is a clear example, for he was the only man on earth at that time that was enabled to be in covenant with God.

All the others were destructed at the flood. The present situation is completely different, for it empowers any human being to be in covenant with God, whichever his past might have been. Since there's a sincere call of his to God by the faith in the Lord Jesus, the covenant is automatic. But,(Gen 6:11-18).

God chose again a just and honest man to be His ally and so a new generation would be born on earth. Calling Noah and his family to a covenant and showing them His power by the flood, God expected the family to be full of respect in their hearts to Him; then they would follow His will and they might redeem Adam's mistake.

However, it didn't work as it was supposed to, for the earth turned to be what it used to be after Adam's sin, because the corrupt nature of the hearts was untouched, and as a matter of fact, the only way of making a heart clean is remaking it.
And this may happen only by work of God Himself through the Person of the Holy Spirit. He's the only one capable of changing our old nature, our corrupt heart into a divine nature and a heart full of His light.

It's just as the Lord promised to those who believe in His Word (Ezek 11:19-20).
The covenant between God and Noah happened like that: after Noah's boat having floated on the flood waters for a hundred fifty days and before it rested on the Ararat; for God's orders (Gen 8:18-19). And the first step Noah took after leaving the boat was to build (Gen 8:20-22).

A sacrifice was demanded so that the Lord could breathe the clean air and determine that the earth should never be destroyed again due to man's mistakes. And it was necessary to build an altar in order to do an adequate sacrifice.
This altar, built by Noah after his leaving the boat, represents nowadays whoever gives up his self for the Lord Jesus. This renouncement is one of the most basic sacrifices for an eternal covenant with God, by the Lord Jesus Christ. He told us: (John 6:37).

God's Covenant

The first time we see the word "covenant" in the Bible is in the book of Genesis, when God speaks to Noah and announces his purpose of "destroying all flesh".
For Noah's love and respect, the Lord preserved him and his family as an exception, by a covenant, when He said:" (Gen 6:18)

The last time the Bible refers to the covenant is just at the very last book, Revelation: (Rev 11:19).

However, if we examine them in detail, we can verify the last one completes the first one, for the first covenant refers to a coming one and God has always respected it for the whole process of mankind's development until nowadays. Nevertheless, this covenant's achievement is completed exactly at the Revelation's accomplishment, when God's sanctuary gets open and manifests the Covenant Box, witness of all His promises.

Whoever became partner with God in such society and did what he was supposed to do, got to be so extraordinarily successful that their lives became part of history, for their living and working in perfect communion with the Creator.

They changed the world of their times for the faith example they gave, for the single reason that they had a covenant with the Lord God. Yes, for by the covenant with God, anyone can have an active and productive faith, and be enabled to demand his rights and then achieve the benefits of the Christian faith. And the covenant ensures him with God's answers to his wishes and needs.

WHAT'S A COVENANT?

A covenant, according to the Holy Scriptures, is a contract, a pact, an agreement or a society between two persons or more in which obligations and rights are set between the parts.

If we really want a covenant with God it requires everything of us, for God's commitment in His covenant is 100%. God participates with everything He's got, and He demands man's participation for 100% of all his heart, with all his love and life.

The Lord Jesus answered a Pharisee concerning this subject: " (Mt 22:37). Another occasion, He said: (Mt 10:37-39)
We can observe the type of covenant God made with us in the above verses. He doesn't accept part of us! It's everything or nothing! For he doesn't give us only a part either, as we can see:" (John 3:34).

Regarding His blessings, the Lord Jesus promised them, saying:" (John 15:7). If God is boundless in His sacrifice in order to give us everything He's got, He can demand us everything we've got. It's fair!

The Power of Faith.

Many people still face a dilemma when they think about miracles; but what makes people do not believe that God still performs wonderfully nowadays?

What the bible says about it? “But the natural man receive not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”. (1 Corinthians 2:14)

After reading this bible verse we have no doubt that for some people it has not been clear because they could not see or understand yet such power that comes from God once we believe in Him.

As you can see above this is one real testimony of a person who used her faith in God and after receiving the anointing with the holy oil became free from a 5kg tumor.

What's in your heart's upper room?

The Upper Room was the place where the Lord Jesus ate His last Passover meal with His disciples. (Mark 14.15) It was also where a few days later the disciples received the Holy Spirit (Acts 1.13).

Two-story houses were common in biblical Israel, at least among the wealthy. The ground floor was normally used for storage, household work, sheltering animals, and other ordinary day-to-day activities. The upper rooms were used for sleeping, relaxing, and dining — especially for close family and honorable guests. Not just anybody would be allowed in the upper rooms of someone’s house.

It’s no coincidence that the Lord Jesus chose an upper room to celebrate the Lord’s Supper, which would become a symbol of God’s new pact with us. Nor was it by chance that the Holy Spirit first came upon the disciples in an upper room.

The message is obvious. God longs to be in the Upper Room of our hearts — the most intimate, honorable place and have fellowship with us.

But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else.

But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body. Not all flesh is the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another. There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man.

I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

“Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:35-58)

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit !

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a term used to describe the fullness of God dwelling within a person. However, for this to occur there are some steps to be followed.

• No one pours clean water into a dirty cup. Likewise, a person cannot be given the Holy Spirit when there are other spirits dwelling in his body, such as the spirit of envy, dissension, anger, greed, gossip, etc.

• No one is given the spirit of God as long as he holds a grudge against someone else. God’s greater forgiveness can only be enjoyed after the person has sincerely forgiven those who hurt him. Only then will the Holy Spirit find a place to dwell in his heart.

• No liar is given the spirit of Truth. Our yes must be ‘yes’ and our no, ‘no’. We have to tell the truth, because it is our sincerity that keeps us clean.

• No one can be given the Holy Spirit while he is still attached to the things of this world.

• When you seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit you must not let anything accuse you before God. If there is something accusing you, you have to immediately confess it to the Lord Jesus and ask for his forgiveness.

When a person is baptized in the Holy Spirit, he immediately receives God’s life-force, which enables him to fight and overcome any battle. The Holy Spirit helps us to seal off any openings that the devil could use to enter and attack us. As a result, we are fully able to carry out God’s will.

What we have to understand is that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is an extremely important step for any true Christian to achieve the fullness of life and communion with God.

The Holy Spirit !

Before we speak about the baptism in the Holy Spirit, we first need to know about the Holy Spirit Himself.

As the third Person of the Holy Trinity, the Holy Spirit is no less than the other two Persons. In fact, the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit are virtually one and the same. They are distinct, yet for only one God. It is an unsolvable mystery. It is as though we are saying, 1+1+1=1.

The Holy Spirit is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and omniscient; as a result, He is able to fill us with happiness and peace, dwell in us, enjoy a close relationship with His people, and perform miracles.

Those who are baptized with the Holy Spirit are more privileged than the 12 disciples of the Lord Jesus. Every time Jesus left to pray or rest by Himself, they felt alone and overwhelmed with fear (Mark 4:38). However, once a person is sealed with the Holy Spirit, he is never alone, as it’s written: “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. “ (John 14:16, 17).

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit makes us different in every aspect because we take on Jesus’ own nature. It make us see as He saw, think as He thought and speak as He spoke – to act in the same way that Jesus acted. It is this baptism that enables us to do the work of God. It’s written “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

His greatest desire is to lead us and fill us with His presence, so that we are one with Him. Everything that the Lord Jesus did was the result of the anointing He had received from the Holy Spirit, and now the same Spirit wants to dwell in us.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a unique experience. For a person to receive it, he has to let go of himself, his religious traditions and anything else that interferes in his relationship with God. There must be a Strong and sincere desire to receive the Holy Spirit.

Anyone seeking baptism in the Holy Spirit has to clearly understand God’s plan in order for this promise to be fulfilled. The Holy Spirit was sent as a substitute for the Lord Jesus Christ; therefore, if a person wants the baptism in the Holy Spirit and is not ready to follow the Lord Jesus, his efforts are in vain.

Faithfulness

After Moses’s death Joshua was chosen to lead the people of Israel to the promised land, Joshua knew that to take those people to the land flowing with milk and honey (promise land) he was suppose to do exactly what Moses could not, make the people understand about faithfulness to God.

Joshua realized that faithfulness to God would be the only, true and shortest way to the promised land. “Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD”. (Joshua 24:14)

Joshua was carefully leading people not only to the land but to faithfulness because that’s how they would take possession of the promised land. “The LORD rewards everyone for their righteousness and faithfulness”… (1 Samuel 26:23)

GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

We all know that when some people fail on doing something they try to put blame on someone else or even on God, few are those who really assume their mistakes. “God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie”… (Hebrews 6:18)

“Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed. But just as all the good things the LORD your God has promised you have come to you”… (Joshua 23 14-15)

What God promised to His people He always fulfilled and He will always do so, but remember that in order for you to see the fulfillments of His promises God needs to see your faithfulness.

FAITH

Consulting the dictionary you will see the definition of the word “FAITH”- “Be confident about something; if you have faith in someone, you feel confident about their ability or goodness, complete confidence”.

Consulting the bible; “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible”. (Hebrews 11: 1-3)

FAITH IN YOURSELF

Have faith in yourself is your ability to handle whatever situations are presented to you. When you need to perform a task or complete a project, you have no question in your mind that you will succeed.

Having confidence in yourself means you have belief in your ability to accomplish things that others would consider difficult or impossible. This type of faith in yourself inspires others.

If you don't believe in yourself, then it will be impossible to truly believe in anything else that you can’t see, touch or feel.

FAITH IN GOD

Your faith in God is something really magnificent, because it’s something personal, faith in God is not something that everybody has, but those who have and those who put it in action, they see the wonders of God, many people get discouraged or forsake their faith in God because they haven’t seen the result of their faith, but why they haven’t seen the result of it? Because they confuse faith with feelings and faith has nothing to do with it.

For example I'm not seeing God, but I'm sure that He lives, and this certainty is in my mind not in my heart, I'm sure that when we come before God’s presence in the name Jesus He will be there, why? because He promised in His word “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”(Matthew 18:20).

It’s matter of intelligent faith and I use my faith along with intelligence in God's word, my faith is directed and conducted through God's word and it's based on the promises of God, then because of that, I have to see the results of my faith, because of it God has no other option unless bless me, because I take action I don’t have faith in God only using my lips, I show my faith I prove it to God, then there must be an answer from God to my life. “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him”. (Hebrews 11:6)

FAITH VS. DOUBTS

We have the ability to choose the way we think or speak over the situations in our life. We can either choose a spirit of doubt and unbelief, or take a step in the direction of faith. Hebrews 11:6 tells us, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."

Attitude of doubts

That was exactly what happened with the people of Israel reason why they could not take possession of the promise land.

“That night all the members of the community raised their voices and wept aloud. All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, “If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness! Why is the LORD bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?” And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.Then Moses and Aaron fell face down in front of the whole Israelite assembly gathered there”.

Attitude of Faith

“Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite assembly, “The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them.” (Numbers 14:1-9)

The Answer

The LORD replied, “I have forgiven them, as you asked. Nevertheless, as surely as I live and as surely as the glory of the LORD fills the whole earth, not one of those who saw my glory and the signs I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness but who disobeyed me and tested me ten times not one of them will ever see the land I promised on oath to their ancestors. No one who has treated me with contempt will ever see it. But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it (Numbers 14: 20-24)

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, (Romans 15:5)

Mount Sinai, the Mountain of God.

“Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush.
Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”

When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”

And Moses said, “Here I am.”

“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Then he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.

The LORD said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey.(Exodus 3:1-8)

Mount sinai or Horeb, was the mountain where God descended on in order to set His people free. The promise of God for His people was to take them out of the Egypt, place where they were all living a miserable life, to take to a land where they would have prosperity since that land was good and spacious land flowing with milk and honey.

Horeb was where Moses received his commission to return to Egypt to lead the Israelites out, and was later the place where he received the The Ten Commandments from The Lord.

The Bible reveals us what the king David asked to God;

“One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. It’s very clear to us that the desire of king David was to always be in the presence of his God, spending his time with his God because that was his treasure or why not say his pleasure, that was one of the reasons God chose him to be a king. “…I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.” (Acts 13:22)

Have you ever stopped to think how many hours we do have in one year’s time?

Your answer is 8.760 hours in a year.

But 78 hours = 3 days and 6 hours, this is what people give to God, if they come every Sunday to the church in one year’s time.

Unfortunately most of us just remember to ask, and we forget to give, not considering what the Lord Jesus Christ said, that it is more blessed to give than to receive. When we are not ready or willing to give, so how can we be ready or willing to receive?

“But now the LORD declares: Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained”. (1 Samuel 2:30)
Many are the times we question ourselves asking, why is not God blessing me? why nothing is happening in my life?

Nobody can withdraw from their account 5.000 if they only have deposited 2.000, in other words, what you have offered to God this is what shall be given back to you.

Therefore we should start to exam our lives and with a sincere heart judge ourselves, if we are really offering to God our best, and if not, never is too late to start.

Why 40 Days ?

There is something special about a 40-day time frame. We repeatedly see in the Bible that when God was about to do something big, He often worked it over 40 days. Let’s see:
• Noah’s life was transformed by 40 days of rain.
• Moses went from shepherd to statesman after 40 days on Mount Sinai.
• The spies decided their fate by 40 days in the Promised Land.
• David arose from obscurity after Goliath’s 40-day challenge.
• God gave Elijah 40 days of strength from a single meal and empowered him for a great task.
• The entire city of Nineveh was transformed when God gave them 40 days to change.
• Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness before starting His miracle ministry.
• The disciples were transformed by 40 days with Jesus after His resurrection.
• Moses interceded for the people for 40 days so that God would not destroy them.
Coincidence? When a person is focused on one purpose and works on it daily for 40 days, something happens inside him. It changes him. It transforms him. It empowers him. A 40-day period is a special, God-appointed time frame through which we can provoke radical changes in our lives.
You have things in your life that you would like to change for the better. You have goals and dreams you want to achieve. Unless we plan and act on these dreams, they won’t just happen by chance. We need to define what we want. Then we need to plan how we are going to get it. And then we need to go and get it.
We invite you to join us and start 40 days of purpose beginning October 17th till November 25th. During these forty days you will need three things:
1. Focus: Define one important change you want to make in your life during this period. Don’t go for too many things at the same time. It will work best if you focus on one or two things only. The better the focus, the better the results.
2. Plan: Work out the steps you will need to take to make the change. Think of the time you will have to spend, things you will have to give up, how you will make sure you stay motivated till the end, what you are going to do get what you want. Think it through, let your mind take you there.
3. Action: Waste no time! Each day of the 40 days is an opportunity for you to make a small step that will add up to the next day, and the next, until you break through. Don’t lose momentum! Action often has a cumulative effect, meaning you get more results from doing something regularly than doing the same thing sporadically.

The Power of Asking

One of the most underused tools of success is the power of asking. There is power in asking for what we want — and yet, few of us use it to its full potential.
We didn’t ask to be born, but as soon as we were born, asking was the first thing we learned. As a baby, if we were hungry, or cold, or sick, or just needed a new diaper, we instinctively knew what to do — we just had to CRY!

Nobody taught us that, we were too young to understand, but we knew — as if it had been wired into us — that all we needed to do to get what we wanted was ask! Or cry, as it were. And get we did.

Our parents were very good at understanding and responding to our requests — otherwise they wouldn’t get much sleep anyway…
But as time went by and we grew older, it seems that the instinct of asking for what we want was slowly stamped out of us. Little by little we were made to feel that asking for something we wanted was selfish; that we were disturbing somebody; that we didn’t deserve to ask for anything but instead should be grateful for whatever we had; and somehow we even learned to take pride in NOT asking anybody for help or anything else we needed… How did that happen?
This is a fascinating, “lost” power that we all need to relearn how to use.

The Lord Jesus said;
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (Matthew 7: 7-11)

If you noticed, the Lord Jesus was teaching us about the Power of Asking, when we use this strong weapon believing, then the impossible becomes possible in our lives.

A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy had a collection of marbles. The girl had some sweets with her. The boy told the girl that he will give her all his marbles in exchange for her sweets. The girl agreed.
The boy kept the biggest and the most beautiful marble aside and gave the rest to the girl. The girl gave him all her sweets as she had promised.
That night, the girl slept peacefully. But the boy couldn't sleep as he kept wondering if the girl had hidden some sweets from him the way he had hidden his best marble.

Moral of the story: If you don't give your hundred percent in a relationship, you'll always keep doubting if the other person has given his/her hundred percent.. This is applicable for any relationship like love, friendship employer-employee relationship etc., Give your hundred percent to everything you do and sleep peacefully

For this day the members of the UCKG proclaimed their deliverance from all sickness, curses, unemployment and all evil. This day was a blessing for many people, because miracles happened and many lives were transformed for the glory of the living God.

GOD's DELIVERANCE

"That same day Pharaoh gave this order to the slave drivers and foremen in charge of the people: "You are no longer to supply the people with straw for making bricks; let them go and gather their own straw. But require them to make the same number of bricks as before; don't reduce the quota. They are lazy; that is why they are crying out, 'Let us go and sacrifice to our God.' Make the work harder for the men so that they keep working and pay no attention to lies." (Exodus 5:6-9)

In those days, the people of God went through a period of severe oppression under king Pharaoh’s reign. All men, women and children were subjected to hard labor. All they knew in life was work, work & work .. that’s it. They were severely treated and had no kind of relaxation, even to worship their God. So when Moses came to king Pharaoh to speak on behalf of his people, to let them go to sacrifice to their God, he wouldn’t allow them, rather Pharaoh burdened them with more work, and made their lives more miserable.

Like wise whenever a person tries to approach to God for him to be free from all his problems and be free from all his burdens, the idea that the problem gives to the person is that, their problems are more worse and so difficult to solve and there comes a struggle for the person - God on one side wants him to be by His side and Bless him and supply him his needs and satan on the other side wants to pull the person to his side and wants to destroy the person and wants to make his life more miserable. Its upto to you to determine on whose side you are going to surrender yourselves, either to God or to satan. Consequences are a very Blessed life or a very miserable life.

WHY MOUNT SINAI ?

Sinai is a natural altar, a 7,500ft high mountain that rises abruptly from the Egyptian desert, higher than all other mountains in that range.
Also known as Horeb, one of the meanings of the word is ‘waste’. It remains to this day mostly as wilderness, a desert area, with very few people living there such as Bedouins and shepherds.
It was at the foot of Sinai where the Hebrew slaves, ‘the waste of Egypt’, came to encamp after they left the land of slavery over 3,000 years ago.
When they arrived there, they were nothing but real human waste: men and women, young and old, and children, with their backs scarred from the whips of their slave masters, their feet callous from standing knee-deep in mud all day making bricks to build cities for pharaoh, their clothes but old rags, eyes that had seen nothing but the horrible images of slavery from the day they were born.
But right there, at the foot of that mountain, that people became a great nation! The disorderly slaves departed from Sinai with the Book of the Law, given to them by God Himself, with clear direction to the Promised Land. They were assured of God’s help and protection as they marched on to become, at one point, one the most prosperous and feared nations on earth.
So, Mount Sinai is a symbol of victory, of rising from the ashes, of the impossible becoming possible, the weak becoming strong. It is where waste becomes wealth, and the forgotten are remembered. It is also a sign that God sees and remembers His people, and does not leave them at the mercy of their oppressors.
Sinai is the only mountain of earth where God set foot and decidedly changed the destiny of His people.
And that’s why we go there! When we are standing on top of that mountain, our faith is at its highest. All these facts come to life to us because we’re not just reading about that place – we’re seeing it before our very eyes!
That’s why we promote challenges of faith on Mount Sinai once a year at our church. Since we started doing this in 1980, thousands of people have achieved great victories and given wonderful testimonies through the prayers made on that mountain.
We go to Mount Sinai only for great things. We go there to radically change lives. We go to decide difficult situations.
We go to show through sacrifice that our faith is real, in return for the realization of God’s promises in our lives!
It is a privilege to be part of it. It is a blessing to take part in the Challenge of Mt Sinai.

When a person is required to leave everything behind, in order to serve God, there happens an immense struggle between him and satan. When he overcomes that and takes his first step towards God, his life comes under the total control of God and if he continues to walk in the way that leads to His Holiness – the assured gift that God has for him will be the most precious Salvation for his Soul.

So let’s not become weary in our journey that leads to God !!!

"DAY OF DECISION" EVENT IN BRAZIL

This was the grand meeting of the “Day of Decision” which was conducted by the UCKG in Brazil on 21/04/2010, where 10 million people together from all over Brazil participated in this great event, in their respective states.

In this great event, many people saw the Power of God working in their lives by delivering them from all kinds of evil, healing from all sickness etc... There were testimonies of so many miracles that happened in people’s lives in this particular day.

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." (Joshua 24:14-15)

When Joshua gathered his people, he was concerned about the sole decision of the people whether they will follow the true God wholeheartedly or follow the gods of their fathers. The reason behind it was - he wanted to make very clear that for the people to move ahead in life required a solid decision in that exact moment.

Today we are in that same dilemma as such of Joshua and his people. Even today we see that many people are still undecided about whom to follow or which way they need to go in life. The gods of the forefathers today will be like urforgiveness, hatred, the love for money, addictions…. etc…

Marriage is a very precious moment in the life of each and every person living in this world. Even though various cultures in the world have had their own theories on marriage. THE POWER OF INTERCESSION

When a person is at the extreme level of his problems especially when he sees that his beloved family is under the bondage of addictions, sickness, misunderstanding, fighting, financial problems …. The only way to see a drastic change in your family, is to cry out to God, intercede on behalf of them. That’s what exactly happened in the family of Mr.Vijaybabu and Mrs. Premakumari.

In the beginning it was hard for Mrs.Premakumari, being a person always sick, affected by her husband’s addiction - who was addicted to alcohol for 18 years, very often attacked by the thoughts to commit suicide … was invited by one of her sons to the UCKG. After participating in continuous chain of prayers, learnt how to use her faith and intercede on behalf of her family, started seeing changes in her family. Today her family is completely blessed, her husband is free from his addiction, and she on the other side is completely free from all sickness and suicidal thoughts. The whole family is blessed and united together in the presence of God.

And that’s what exactly happening in the UCKG, every Sunday at 9 am. Hundreds of people join together with us in one faith in the Prayer of Intercession, crying out to God on behalf of their families.
We invite you to join us on Sundays at 9 am, especially if you are a person going through a hard time in your family. Your family can surely change through the prayers of intercession.
